Nursery: Part 2

The time is almost here.  She will be arriving soon and we have been working our butts off trying to get this little girls room done asap.  Our girls are worth it though. We have a few things left but I would love to share where we are now.  I know a lot of people have been waiting for me to put up pictures and tutorials of what we did and I am sorry it's taken so long.

I think everyone's favorite part has to be the pallet flooring and the painted wall.  I have to say, they are my favorite as well.  It's so fun to know that Ryan and I have done this together and it actually looks beautiful.  You get so many ideas in your head of what you want something to look like, but making it reality is always the trick.  I think we have come pretty close to what I had pictured in my mind.  I am such a prefectionist and I am glad that amazing husband has been so patient and loving to help this irritable pregnant woman get this done.  Thanks Babe! So I will just start with a stroll of pictures of individual things we've and if anyone would like a tutorial on anything we did,  please let me know and I will go at it.  Here ya go!

Had old curtains and added some length to them.  I love the way these turned out.

Her name is not neccesarily, just had to put something in for the picture.

Hand made blanket from her Nana.

Wooden and painted mural.

Let me know what you guys think.  I will have the big reveal shortly.  Come back to check it out.

Nursery

I think one of my favorite things to do in life is to decorate, paint murals, and be crafty.  My husband never understands me when I say, oh I would love to paint something.  He thinks I am absolutely crazy!  To him it's work but to me it's amazing.  The change you can make to a place just by paint is stunning.  Since I was a little girl I have alway been in love with paint and now that I am an adult, I have the freedom to do what I want with it.

On that note, we have a new addition to our house in July.  We are expecting our third child and my family and I are very excited to know we are having a girl.  It's fun to know this because our first daughter we did not know we were having a girl.  Our second child was a boy so I surely couldn't decorate a pretty little nursery for him.  Our color choices were yellow, green, and white!  To a woman who loves color, this was very boring.  I loved the room it just wasn't that little girl room a momma always dreams about giving her little princess.  Now we will have both our little girls in the same room, and I can give both our daughter that room.  Here is a little peak of what I've been doing.  The color is quite bright but I love it.

I want to show you what it looked like before.  It makes me nauseous every time I look at it.  How can you not get depressed in this dark of a room. YUCK!
